Khattar appointed two new ministers

Chandigarh. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has expanded his cabinet. He has made one new minister each from the quota of both BJP and Jannayak Janata Party. BJP MLA Kamal Gupta and JJP MLA Devendra Babli were administered the oath by the Governor on Tuesday evening. Earlier it was being said that the Chief Minister can remove some ministers that their portfolios may be reshuffled but nothing like this happened. however, By including Kamal Gupta among the new ministers, the Chief Minister has tried to win the trust of the Vaish community. Eight BJP MLAs in the state belong to the Vaish community. There was growing resentment in the Vaish community as there was no minister from this community. Apart from this, the Jat farmers were angry with the Jannayak Janata Party due to the movement of farmers’ organizations. Efforts have been made to please Jats and farmers by giving representation to Devendra Babli in the cabinet.
