England won the first ODI from Bangladesh with Malan’s century

Mirpur. With the help of Dawid Malan’s century, England beat Bangladesh by three wickets in the first match of the three-match ODI series here on Wednesday. Batting first, Bangladesh team was dismissed for 209 runs in 47.2 overs. Najmul Hasan Shanto scored the highest 58 runs from his side.

It was not easy for England to reach the target on a slow pitch but with the help of Malan’s unbeaten 114-run innings played with the help of eight fours and four sixes, he won by scoring 212 runs in seven wickets in 48.4 overs. The second match will be played in Mirpur itself on Friday.
