BCCI gets new sponsor, Indian team will enter with new sponsor in WTC final match

Team India’s new kit sponsor has been announced. Jai Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, announced this through a tweet on Monday. Adidas will be the new kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team. After the announcement of the new kit sponsor, it is believed that in the final match of the World Test Championship, the Indian team will be seen in the new jersey with Adidas logo.
 
Let us inform that earlier this deal of BCCI was with Killer, at the end of which a five-year agreement has been signed with Adidas. This deal will be applicable from June 2023 which will continue for the next five years. Informing about the new sponsorship deal, Jay Shah tweeted, “I am delighted to announce the BCCI’s partnership with adidas as kit sponsor. We are committed to growing the game of cricket.” And couldn’t be more excited to partner with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands. Welcome to adidas.”
 
Sponsors have changed earlier also
Let us tell you that this is not the first time that BCCI has changed the kit sponsor. In the year 2020, the team’s agreement with Nike ended. BCCI has tied up with many sponsors and terminated them. Prior to this, Byju’s, MPL have also been sponsors of BCCI.
 
The team will enter the field after IPL
The Indian team will first be seen in the World Test Championship. After a long time the team will hit the ground. In this Test match, the Indian team will be seen in the jersey with the new logo.
