According to the data in the report, the population of stray animals is increasing continuously. This rising number is at the bottom of the country’s score of ‘All Pets Wanted’. Overall, India scored 2.4 points on a 10-point scale.

Whereas about 77 percent of the people say that they see a stray dog ​​at least once a week. According to the report, there are about 8 crore stray cats and dogs in the country, including 6.2 crore stray dogs and 91 lakh stray cats. Along with this, there are 88 lakh stray dogs and cats in the shelter home.
