Ashleigh Gardner said it took some time to adjust to the noise of the crowd

Australia women’s cricket team all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner says the cheering noise of the crowd at the stadium during the ongoing T20I series against India put extra pressure on her team to perform but they got used to it as the matches progressed. Gardner has made impressive contributions with both bat and ball in the series which has helped his team take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series. Garden said on the ‘100 Percent Cricket’ podcast, “It takes a lot of time to get used to this environment.”

He said, “When the spectators are cheering the opponent team on every ball, sometimes your confidence starts to waver. When the fans make noise in their support even after a dot ball, it seems that their team is at the top of the game. Focused on harmonizing with it. The spectators were making a lot of noise but we decided to ignore them.
