Batting becomes easier when Shubman is at the other end: Saha
Senior Gujarat Titans player Wriddhiman Saha says India’s young international cricketer Shubman Gill, who is in excellent form, makes it easier for him to bat when he is batting at the other end. Gill has had a great last three months in international cricket and has improved a lot in his T20 game as well. Saha told reporters during a virtual conversation, “Shubman is in the best form of his career. It is so easy to bat with him.We know that if Gujarat Titans has to do well, me, Shubman and Sai (Sudarshan) at number three have to bat well. Then it becomes easier for the team. ,
He said, “But when Shubman is at the other end, I can comfortably play my natural game. When Shubman scores quick runs, it becomes easy for batsmen like me, Sai and Vijay to bat. Saha is no longer in the Indian team and played for Tripura during this domestic season but nothing has changed for the 40-Test veteran. “Whether I am playing for India or not, I try to keep things simple. Now that I am playing only in the Indian Premier League, I want to focus on one match at a time and prepare accordingly. And anyway everyone has a different attitude.
