After playing the strong character of Emperor Prithviraj on the big screen, now Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for the first time in this Marathi film. Recently, there was a special event related to the film and on this occasion Salman Khan was also seen making a splash with his presence.

He said, ‘For me it is like a dream come true. I feel it is a huge responsibility in itself to portray and play the character of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the big screen. When I was asked to play this character by Raj Thackeray, I backed down. Let us tell you that before Akshay Kumar, stars like Riteish Deshmukh and Salman Khan have worked in Marathi cinema and they have also got a lot of love from the audience.
