Tiger Woods makes disappointing start at Augusta Masters
Augusta. Veteran golfer Tiger Woods carded a disappointing opening round 74 at the Augusta Masters golf tournament as three players including Jon Rahm tied for the lead. It was Woods’ worst performance at the Masters since 2005. He then made a good comeback with scores of 65-66-71 in the next three rounds but his recent record suggests that it will be difficult for him to make a comeback this time.

Woods has never missed the cut at the Masters as a professional, but if he fails to bounce back in the second round, he will have a tough time making it into the weekend’s play. Meanwhile, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Victor Hovland carded seven-under 65s to share the lead after the first round.
