FIR against Mark Zuckerberg for his Facebook post against Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow | A case has been registered against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg over an alleged controversial post against Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. The case has been filed in a court in Kannauj district. Apart from Zuckerberg, 49 others have been named in the FIR. Zuckerberg himself has not made any defamatory post against Yadav. His Zuckerberg has been named in the FIR because his platform was used to post derogatory remarks against Yadav. Amit Kumar, a resident of Sarahti village in Kannauj district, has filed a case against Zuckerberg and 49 others for making derogatory remarks against Akhilesh Yadav. ( FIR against mark )

Bad image of SP on bua babua

In his application before the court, Amit Kumar has alleged that an attempt was made to malign the Samajwadi Party chief’s image on a Facebook page named “Bua Babua”. Amit Kumar had sent an application to the Superintendent of Police on May 25, but his application could not be heard. After which he went to court and demanded registration of a case against CEO Zuckerberg along with the administrator of the Facebook page. Chief Judicial Magistrate Dharamvir Singh asked the police to register a case at the behest of Kumar.

The term bua babua was coined when BSP chief Mayawati and popular political rivals Akhilesh Yadav formed an alliance in the 2019 parliamentary election. A senior police officer said Zuckerberg’s name was removed during the investigation, while the (Facebook) page’s administrator is being investigated. ( FIR against mark )
