Rahul categorically said that Sri Lanka have an experienced playing XI while India have completely changed their team compared to the T20 World Cup held two months back. He clearly said that we are preparing the team for the next T20 World Cup. Rahul said that before this T20 series, we played the last T20 match against England in the semi-finals of the World Cup. At present, only three or four players of that team are present in the team. We are working on the team for the next T20. Our team is brand new. Let us tell you that after the defeat against Sri Lanka in the second T20 match, many questions are being raised. But coach Rahul Dravid has defended the young players.

India gave chances to youngsters like Shivam Mavi, Umran Malik, Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi in this series. Dravid said that apart from giving him opportunities, he also needs to be supported.
