Gurbaj and Thakur batted brilliantly: KKR captain Nitish Rana
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Nitish Rana praised the batting of Rahmanullah Gurbaj and Shardul Thakur (68 runs) after registering a win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Thursday. Rana said after the match, “Gurbaj batted well and Shardul’s praise is less.” Rinku Singh also gave full support to Thakur. After half-centuries from Gurbaj (57 runs) and Shardul Thakur (68 runs), the team of spinners (nine wickets) managed to win by 81 runs.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf Duplesey said after the defeat, “We were close to getting rid of him cheaply but Shardul Thakur played an amazing inning.” Then their spinners did wonders.
