Indian hockey team upset Australia by defeating them 4-3

The Indian men’s hockey team stunned world number one Australia 4-3 in the third Test of the five-match series here on Wednesday. India, who failed to register a win in both the opening matches, managed to keep the series alive with this unexpected success. Captain Harmanpreet Singh (12th minute), Abhishek (47th minute), Shamsher Singh (57th minute) and Akashdeep Singh (60th minute) scored for the team.

Jack Welch (25th), captain Eran Zalewski (32nd) and Nathan Efraims (59th) scored for Australia. After this win, India is trailing 1-2 in the series. The visiting team had lost the first two Tests 4-5 and 4-7. The fourth match of the series will be played on Saturday and the last match on Sunday.
