Last six months worst phase of my career: Princepaul Singh

India’s young basketball player Princepaul Singh, who is recovering from a career-threatening back injury, considers the last six months to be the worst phase of his life. After becoming the first Indian player to be part of an NBA title-winning team, Princepaul had to deal with the fatal injury. The six-foot-nine-inch tall player from Gurdaspur in Punjab was part of the Sacramento Kings team that won the NBA Summer League title in August 2021. He was injured during practice in America last year.

Princepaul told PTI, “I was practicing in Ohio, USA last year when I injured my back. Since then my treatment is going on. It was the worst phase of my life. I was doing weight training and got injured at the same time. “He said,” I am almost ready to make a comeback now. Hopefully after a month I will regain full fitness. I just want to get back in the game. I am in talks with some foreign leagues including summer leagues and some leagues in Europe. I want to play professional basketball as soon as possible.
