Shaheen Shah Afridi advised for two weeks of rehabilitation
Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has been advised two weeks of rehabilitation (treatment and rest) after suffering a knee injury during the T20 World Cup final against England. The 22-year-old had injured his right knee during the T20 World Cup final in Melbourne. He had to walk off the field after injuring Harry Brooke in the 13th over while chasing England’s target.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement, “Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi was on Sunday sent to two weeks of rehabilitation after suffering an injury while taking a catch of Harry Brooke in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 final in Melbourne. According to the statement, “Shaheen’s knee scan was done on Monday which did not confirm any serious injury.
