Chandna inaugurates the registration portal for Rajiv Gandhi Urban Olympic Games 2023
Rajasthan Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Ashok Chandna on Wednesday inaugurated the registration portal for Rajiv Gandhi Urban Olympic Games 2023. With this, registration has started for the proposed Urban Olympic Games from January 26 next year. These games will be organized in all 240 urban bodies of the state, which include 10 municipal corporations, 36 municipal councils and 194 municipalities. Chandna told reporters on Wednesday that after the phenomenal success of the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympic Games, these games are being started in the cities as well.
Chandna said that seven sports would be organized under the Urban Olympic Games. These include Kabaddi (Boys and Girls Category), Tennis Ball Cricket (Boys and Girls Category), Kho-Kho (Girls Category), Volleyball (Boys and Girls Category), Athletics (100m, 200m and 400m), Basketball (boys and girls category) and football (boys and girls category). He informed that the registration of players can be done till January 21 through the online portal ‘rajolympic.rajasthan.gov.in’. Registration can be done in individual or group categories.
