Madrid Open: Alcaraz retains title by defeating Yann-Lennard Struff

Carlos Alcaraz successfully defended his title at the Madrid Open tennis tournament with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win over Yann Lennard Struff in a three-set match and is firmly on his way to becoming the world number one again. After losing the second set in the final played on Sunday, Alcaraz won the first match point in the third set. This is his 29th win this season.
