According to the information received from the Health Department, more than one and a half times more new infected patients have been found in the state in the last 24 hours as compared to yesterday. 247, 144 in Jashpur, 126 in Janjgir, 122 in Korba, 55 in Surguja, 54 in Korea and 46 in Rajnandgaon have been found. During this, a patient died in Bilaspur.
The number of active patients in the state has increased to 6905. During this time 56 patients were discharged from hospital and home isolation. During this period 48 thousand 832 samples were tested in the state. With this, the average infection rate in the state has reached 4.91 percent.
