No cricketer came in support of wrestlers, Vinesh Phogat asked – why are you scared

These days the country’s veteran wrestlers are on strike at Jantar Mantar. So far many veterans have come in support of the wrestlers, including Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra, Khap Panchayats and many veterans. Wrestlers at Jantar Mantar are demanding that an FIR be registered against Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

Meanwhile, wrestler Vinesh Phogat has also targeted the veteran cricketers and players of the country. He said that he is very sad that the legendary cricketers of the country are not coming forward in support of the wrestlers. He is not talking against the people in power. He said that after seeing the power of the people in power, the players are not daring to stand against them, which has hurt them a lot.

Let us tell you that these days Vinesh Phogat, along with many wrestlers including Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia, is protesting at Jantar Mantar, in which there is a demand to register an FIR against Indian Wrestling Association President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Has been Vinesh Phogat said that the whole country worships cricket but till now no cricketer has said anything in support of the wrestlers. No one has come and stood with the wrestlers. We are not asking cricketers to stand in our support but they should share their views on this issue. Every player of the country who is associated with any sport should come forward.

Citing the example of Black Lives Matter, he said that when it started in the US, sportspersons from all over the world came together to raise their voice against racism and discrimination. He said that there are many big players in our country who have a big name in the world. He had shown his contribution and support in the Black Lives Matter movement in America but no support has been shown with us.

Let us inform that Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have appealed to support the players playing in different sports through open letters and videos. He said that we are seeking support from the players but they are not standing with us because of any fear. Maybe joining us will affect the sponsorship of the players which they don’t want. He said that when we bring a medal after winning it, many players from cricketers tweet congratulating us, but now no one is coming together.
