Three arrested for violating liquor law

Patna. Three people, including a notorious criminal, have been arrested from Digha-Ashiana Road in Bihar for supplying liquor to the state. Rajiv Nagar Patna SHO Saroj Kumar said, “We had specific information about the movement of notorious criminal Bittu. We put up barricades on the roads and started checking vehicles. He was arrested along with two accomplices on Thursday night. We have also recovered expensive bottles of whiskey. Information about Bittu was received a few days ago during a raid on a soft drink agency in Digha locality.

During that raid, the Patna Police had seized 17 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). Half a dozen employees of the soft drinks agency were also arrested. The soft drink agency was owned by a BJP leader named Nilesh Mukhiya, who managed to escape from the spot. The arrested persons disclosed that the liquor bottles were supplied by Bittu. During interrogation, Bittu confessed that he has good relations with several liquor suppliers and mafia operating in Patna. Bittu was a hoarding painter and after coming in contact with local criminals started snatching chain and mobile from bike and also started robbing and dacoity.

The police said that he had a unique method for robbery using a bouquet. He went to a flat in SK Puri area of ​​Patna and knocked on the door holding a bouquet in his hand. When the flat owner opened the door, Bittu robbed him at gunpoint. Bittu was arrested on Sunday, days before his wedding.
