Zampa considering taking a decision on Test career after being dropped from India tour

Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa is left disappointed after being overlooked for the four-Test series starting next month in India and feels he should focus on other formats instead of improving his red-ball career. Zampa told ‘cricket.com.au’, “I am very disappointed, I would have loved to be in the team for this tour.” I felt that the way I am growing up in international cricket, this (especially) would have been a great opportunity for me to get into Test cricket. ,

He said, “I got a message six weeks ago that this was going to be a great opportunity for me and I could possibly be on this tour but it didn’t happen. I am disappointed with it and now is the time to do the opposite. “Jampa said,” I was very excited to join this tour and the message was that my bowling could prove useful there. But maybe the mind changed at the last moment. ,

Zampa said he is yet to decide on his Test career as his priority is still the ODI World Cup to be held in India later this year and the T20 World Cup next year. The 30-year-old player said, “I am not going to close the door completely on red ball cricket. He said, “But life is all about balance. I also have a family and then there are white-ball tours and the World Cup. So I have to try to think of the best for my body, myself and my family.
