Cricketer Rishabh Pant’s condition is improving now and the doctors are yet to decide whether to shift him to another hospital or not. Pant’s family friends and others said this after meeting him in the hospital. Pant’s mother Saroj Pant and sister Sakshi, who came from London, are with him in the hospital. Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) director Shyam Sharma, Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher met Pant at Max Hospital here.

Umesh Kumar said that the BCCI doctors are in constant touch with the doctors at Max Hospital and will take a decision on whether he needs to be shifted elsewhere or not. Pant has so far scored 2,271 runs in 33 Tests including five centuries and 11 half-centuries. He has also represented the country in 30 ODIs and 66 T-Twenties.
