Engineering students from Oberá participated in the “Open Doors” technical training program at Samsa

The activities included a guided tour of the Posadas Water Treatment Plant facilities with a talk led by the Samsa Drinking Water Production Manager, which was adapted to the technical training needs of the students.

On this occasion, future civil engineering professionals from Oberá attended accompanied by Professor Mgter. in Efficient Urban Water Management Ing. Héctor Casale.

Future professionals, who will have a great influence on the development of sanitation services for our region, learned details about production, comprehensive water management, quality analysis that the company performs in all stages of the service, controlled under international standards. They finished their visit receiving institutional material

For more than 20 years, UNaM students have participated in this Samsa program, with the objective of integrating theoretical-practical concepts related to their professional training such as water sanitation, micro-measurement, needs according to water use, principles of purification, sanitary control, among other topics.

During the guided tour of the station, the students observed the complex water treatment process and learned about the technique and technology applied in the collection of raw water, production and distribution.
