But countries like Greece and Greece of Europe had set aside an island to keep their leprosy patients away from the common people.

The name of this island is Spinalonga Island. It is located near the largest island of Crete in Greece. It is located in the Mediterranean Sea at the mouth of the Gulf of Mirabello. After which all the people here were taken for treatment and this leprosy ashram was closed. Since then Spinalonga Island has been deserted. Only one doctor used to come to this island, that too when a patient got some other disease. The treatment of leprosy was discovered even before Indra was created, but the patients living here were not treated.
