The Indian pace spearhead has apparently recovered from a fractured back. He had to be ruled out of the Asia Cup due to the fracture. Bumrah’s injury came to the fore after he had bowled six overs in two T20Is against Australia. While he was returning to the team after getting fit. Bumrah’s back injury was so severe that it required surgery in New Zealand in March, but nearly four months later, Bumrah’s future remains uncertain with no timeline for his return. The 29-year-old is apparently bowling seven overs a day at the NCA, which comes at the perfect time. Earlier this month, it was reported that Bumrah might return to India for the Ireland T20Is after the West Indies tour, but those plans have been shelved for the time being.
