ODI World Cup 2023: Team India will play its matches at these places, know when it will compete with Pakistan

The schedule of the upcoming ODI World Cup in India has been getting delayed continuously. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah had said that it would be announced during the WTC final between India and Australia on Sunday (June 11). But the World Cup schedule is expected to be announced this week and a draft has been prepared. According to media reports, Team India will play its matches at nine venues. Under this, Team India will start its campaign against Australia on 8 October in Chennai.

When will be India-Pak match

The India vs Pakistan match could take place on October 15 at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The capacity of this stadium is more than 1 lakh spectators. Meanwhile, reports also suggest that the final will also take place at the same venue. The places for the semi-finals were not included in the draft edition, but they are most likely to be played on 15 and 16 November. Talking about India’s schedule, it will play against New Zealand in Dharamsala while it will take on England in Lucknow. India will end their league matches with a game against a qualifier team on November 11 in Bengaluru.

Pakistan will be here

Talking about Pakistan, it will play its matches at five places. They will begin their campaign with matches against two qualifying teams on October 6 and 12 respectively in Hyderabad. The Men in Green’s campaign will end on November 12 against England in Kolkata. An official announcement is expected soon as fans abroad are desperate to make travel arrangements even as no update has been made on the tickets.
