Women Ashes series: England won the last match of the Women’s Ashes against Australia

Tanton. Nat Sciver Brunt’s century helped England beat Australia by 69 runs using the Duckworth-Lewis method in the third and final ODI of the Women’s Ashes. Brunt, who scored an unbeaten 111 in the second match, scored 129 off 149 balls. England scored 285 for nine when sent in to bat first. For Australia, Ashley Gardner took three wickets for 39 runs in ten overs and Jess Jonassen took three wickets for 30 runs in five overs.

Australia’s target was reduced to 269 in 44 overs due to rain. Gardner raised hopes by scoring 41 runs in 24 balls but his team was 35. Got out for 199 runs in 3 overs. Ellyse Perry scored the highest 53 runs.
