However, the news that is coming now is not good for India. Still Rishabh Pant can stay away from cricket for many months. According to the information, there is little hope of Pant playing in the Asia Cup to be held in September and the World Cup to be held in India in October-November this year. The recovery of wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant will take longer. According to a report in Cricbuzz, his return could be around January 2024. Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson can get a place in the Indian team as wicketkeepers in place of Rishabh Pant in the Asia Cup and World Cup.

The report further mentions that people close to Pant have said that it will take at least a couple of weeks for the cricketer to walk without any help. Despite an optimal recovery process so far, Rishabh Pant is expected to be out of action for quite some time. Pant is making good progress in his recovery, but the serious nature of his injury means that he will take at least eight to nine months to be fully fit.
