IPL 2023: All-rounder Glenn Maxwell injured again in Australia, RCB felt the pain

Australia’s star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was away from cricket for a long time. He suffered an injury during a match due to which he was on rest. After a long time, Maxwell returned and he was playing a home series ‘Sheffield Shield’ in Australia. Now Glenn Maxwell has got injured again during the ‘Sheffield Shield’ due to which he can again go on a long break. Even though Australia’s batsman and bowler have suffered, but Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have suffered its pain. IPL 2023 teams in India are set to clash with each other and in such a situation, if the star all-rounder of Royal Challengers Bangalore does not play due to injury, then the team can become very weak.

Maxwell’s team medical staff has done his preliminary examination. Glenn Maxwell injured his wrist not once but twice while fielding in the slips during a Sheffield Shield match. Because of this he had to go out of the field. Initial investigation revealed that the wrist bone was not broken and he came out to bat in the second innings as well. But he was seen struggling on the field.

Glenn Maxwell was back in action after missing the entire season of the Big Bash League due to a broken leg. He hopes to return to international cricket next month when Australia play India in a three-match One Day International series. Australia is yet to announce its squad for the series.
