Bulldozer is not the solution

The incidents of leaks are possible only with the connivance of the government printing press, the agencies involved in the examination and some big officials. After getting and solving the paper before distribution, some people sell it to the candidates for lakhs of rupees. Big gangs are involved in this. The question is, how will this system break? uptet paper leak bulldozer

After the leak of TET exam paper in Uttar Pradesh, in his familiar style, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath talked about not sparing the culprits and running bulldozers at their homes. But this does not answer the question as to why papers have been leaked so many times during this tenure of Adityanath. On this occasion, media reports have rightly pointed out that only four months after the Yogi government came to power in March 2017, the paper of Inspector Recruitment Examination was leaked in July 2017. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had conducted the Online Inspector Recruitment Test (CBT) on 25 and 26 July 2017 but it was postponed before that as the paper had already reached the people on WhatsApp. In February 2018, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited’s online recruitment exam paper was also leaked, so the government got a special team to investigate. The examination was canceled after the investigation report revealed irregularities in the recruitment examinations. Some action also took place. But in 2018 itself, the paper of the Subordinate Services Selection Commission was also leaked.

Some other papers to be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission were also leaked, including Tubewell Driver (General Selection) Examination-2016 held in September 2018. In this case some people were arrested in Meerut. Now shouldn’t the question be asked to the Chief Minister that what did his government learn from such incidents? Whereas people keeping an eye on such incidents have been telling that the biggest reason behind the paper leak of examinations is its nexus with copying mafia and officials. The chances of paper leaks in the examination centers are very less, as the papers come in sealed packets and are under the supervision of the higher authorities. Therefore, it is obvious that the incidents of leaks are possible only with the connivance of the government printing press, the agencies involved in the examination and some big officials. After getting and solving the paper before distribution, some people sell it to the candidates for lakhs of rupees. Big gangs are involved in this, whose strings are connected with the officers engaged in the examination system. The question is, how will this system break?
