Rishabh Pant became victim of car accident, car collided with divider, seriously injured
India’s wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant has been injured in a car accident near his hometown Roorkee, Uttarakhand and has been rushed to the hospital.The accident happened in the early hours of Friday when Pant was returning to New Delhi. He was later taken to a local hospital and later shifted to a private multi-specialty hospital in New Delhi. Pant was returning home after playing the Test series against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, his car collided with the divider near Narsan.
According to reports, Rishabh Pant himself was driving the car. Pant told that he fell asleep while driving, due to which his car hit the divider and the accident happened. The car burnt after the accident. Pant has injured his leg and back in the car accident.

The 25-year-old Pant was not part of the Indian squad for the T20 International and home ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting January 3. He was to attend the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for strength and conditioning ahead of the Test series against Australia in February. He recently played a match-winning knock of 93 in the second Test against Bangladesh at Mirpur, helping India win the series 2-0.
