Yorkshire confirms data on racism allegations has been permanently ‘deleted’

Yorkshire County Cricket Club confirmed that documents relating to the allegations of racism and the response to the accusers have been ‘deleted’ and cannot be retrieved. Following a media furore over the ‘deleted’ data, Yorkshire said in a statement: “There have been a number of reports in the media regarding the Cricket Discipline Commission (CDC) investigation, the club has released data and documents.” The charge of deletion has been accepted. It said, “On November 5, 2021, it was found that the emails and documents which were kept by the club both ‘electronically’ and in paper copy were ‘deleted’ from the servers and laptops and were destroyed which were recovered again. cannot be achieved.
