Mother of two year old child Deepti will inspire others with WPL

Right-handed batsman Sneha Deepti, who made her international debut with the legendary Smriti Mandhana, hasn’t had a career like hers but the mother of a two-year-old daughter is hopeful that the Women’s Premier League (WPL) will once again see her in the Indian team. Will get a chance to make a place. The Andhra player made her India debut against Bangladesh in 2013 but was dropped from the national team after playing two T20 Internationals and one women’s ODI. He however continued to represent Andhra in domestic matches.

He played his last match for the state in November 2021. When the WPL auctions were announced, Deepti decided to try her luck and the 26-year-old got a bid of Rs 30 lakh from Delhi Capitals. Mother of two-year-old daughter Kriva, Deepti has started practicing with the Delhi-based franchise for the WPL starting March 4. In the video released on Delhi Capitals TV, Deepti said, “It was very difficult for me to come here leaving my daughter at home but I decided to do this to give priority to my career and to inspire others.”
