After Argentina Open, Cameron Norrie to face Carlos Alcaraz in Rio Open 2023 final

Top seeds Carlos Alcaraz and Cameron Norrie won their respective semifinals of the Rio Open to set up a title clash for the second time in a row. Earlier on February 20, the two faced each other in the final of the Argentina Open where Spain’s Alcaraz defeated Nouri.

The 19-year-old Alcaraz sealed a place in the final on Saturday by defeating Nicolas Jarry 6-7(2), 7-5, 6-0. Earlier, Britain’s Norrie defeated Bernabe Zapata Miralles 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (3) in a match that lasted almost two and a half hours. Nori will be playing his third final this year. He is the player with the most 17 wins in 2023. They have faced defeat in three matches during this period.
