IND VS NZ Test: Shreyas Iyer, who played the first Test, passed on the first day of the Test, Captain Rahane’s struggle continues.

Along with playing a brilliant half-century, he also made an unbeaten century partnership of 113 runs with Ravindra Jadeja. The Test cap was handed over to India’s successful Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar this morning. Shreyas, playing the first innings of his Test career, has hit seven fours and two sixes by playing 136 balls so far. At the other end, so far in the innings of 100 balls, six times the ball has crossed the boundary line.

Team India had come under pressure earlier

IND vs NZ Test : Earlier, electing to bat after winning the toss, the Indian team came under pressure after losing four wickets for 145 runs. Ravindra Jadeja, who came out to bat at number six, played with understanding with Shreyas Iyer playing the first Test and not only rescued the team from the crisis. At the same time, till the end of the game, the score was brought to a respectable position.

Pujara and Rahane’s bad phase continues

IND vs NZ Test : Earlier, Cheteshwar Pujara (26) and captain Ajinkya Rahane (35), who were struggling with poor form, could not return to the rhythm even today. Pujara, who came to the crease after the dismissal of opener Mayank Agarwal (21), batted in a slow but restrained manner. Together with the already frozen Shubman Gill (52), he took the team’s score to 82 for one wicket till lunch. Shubman, who brilliantly scored his fourth half-century of his career, was bowled out by Klay Jameson in the first over after lunch.
