English Premier League: Arsenal beat Oxford, now face Manchester City

Oxford. Arsenal beat third-placed side Oxford United 3. 0 to advance to the next round of the FA Cup where they would face English Premier League champions Manchester City. Mohamed Elneny scored the first goal for Arsenal while Eddie En scored twice. Arsenal and Manchester City will now face off at the Etihad Stadium on January 28 and 29.

With the win, Arsenal avoided being knocked out in the third round. Everton, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Brentford, Newcastle, Chelsea and Aston Villa have all previously been knocked out after defeats in the lower leagues.
