But even before that, Team India has suffered a major setback. According to information received from sources, Team India’s opener KL Rahul has been ruled out of the Test series due to injury. Rahul was the vice-captain of Team India in the T20 series. Not only this, two other legends of Team India, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are also not going to play in the first match. They have been given rest. The first Test of this series will be played in Kanpur.

Shreyas replaces Virat in the first match
Shreyas Iyer is part of the Test team, and it is believed that in the absence of Virat Kohli in the first match, Iyer will bat at his number. Team India captain Virat Kohli will join the team in the second Test to be played in Mumbai. Virat Kohli will be the captain in the second Test. At the same time, Rohit Sharma has been rested in this two-Test series.
Suryakumar has got a place in the Test team
Suryakumar Yadav has been included in India’s Test team. Now the matter is, whether he is included in the last eleven in the first Test or not.
