The priest of the temple was walking around wearing a burqa, what did he say if he was caught?
It is shown in films that thieves wear a burqa to steal. Sometimes even policemen do this to disguise themselves. However, even in real life, the thief police do this. But why would a priest wear a burqa? Now this question is because in Kerala a priest has been found walking wearing a burqa. At first people caught him. Then they were handed over to the police.
In fact, something happened that in Kozhikode district of Kerala, people caught the suspected priest wearing a burqa and handed him over to the police. On being questioned, the priest said that he had chicken pox, that is why he was walking around wearing a burqa. However, the police say that no symptoms of chicken pox were found in the priest.
According to the news agency PTI, the matter is of Koylandi area. Police said they received information that 28-year-old suspected priest Jishnu Namboothiri was roaming around at Koylandi Junction railway station. The priest was wearing a burqa. Some auto drivers standing there suspected him. When the drivers came to know that the person wearing the burqa was a priest, they immediately caught him and handed him over to the police.
The police then interrogated the priest but did not get any suspicious information. Police say that there was no criminal complaint against Pujari, so he was later released.
Why wear Burkha?
During interrogation, the police came to know that the man wearing a burqa works as a priest in the temple of Jishnu Namboothiri Meppayur. Police say that the priest is currently being monitored. No criminal complaint has been received against him till now.
