Salar is a Telugu action thriller film produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. Apart from Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu will also have important roles in the film. The budget of the film is said to be around Rs 200 crore. This is the first Telugu film of Kannada film veteran director Prashanth Neel, which will also be released in Hindi and Kannada.
