Big change in Team India for Test series against Bangladesh, this player returns after 12 years

A two-Test series is to be played against Bangladesh. The squad for the Test series had already been announced. But after the injury of Mohammed Shami, Jaydev Unadkat has been included in the team in his place. Jaydev Unadkat is 31 years old. He played his only Test match in 2010 against South Africa at Centurion. He did not get a single success in this test match. But after performing brilliantly in domestic cricket, his team is returning once again to India.

 

There is also news that Jaidev Unadkat is currently in Rajkot. Efforts are being made to complete the visa related formalities. It is believed that Jaydev Unadkat will soon join Team India. Jaydev Unadkat has also played for India in Tests and ODIs. He has achieved 8 successes in seven ODIs while 14 wickets have been taken in 10 T20 matches. Jaydev Unadkat has played 91 IPL matches taking 91 wickets. He has also been the most expensive player sold in a season.

Looking at Jaydev Unadkat’s recent performance, he is the highest wicket-taker for Saurashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy with 19 scalps in 10 matches. In first-class cricket, he has played 96 matches in which he has taken 353 wickets.
