Three arrested including stepmother in Shahjahanpur for getting sex trade with teenager

Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh). In Shahjahanpur district, three women, including her step-mother, accused of taking a 16-year-old teenager hostage and making her sex trade for a year, have been arrested by the police. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sanjeev Bajpai said on Sunday that the girl’s stepmother Sarla Devi and her accomplices Munni Devi and Mithilesh (Puwayan) were arrested by the police and all three were sent to judicial custody by the local court. Bajpai said that a 16-year-old girl, who reached the Puwayan police station on Friday night, alleged that her stepmother was forcibly getting her into prostitution for the past one year.

On the basis of the complaint received from the teenager, he told that the victim’s stepmother Sarla Devi, Munni Devi and Mithilesh used to keep her hostage and intimidated her to get her sex trade done. He told that Sarla Devi had taken the victim to Mithilesh’s house and where she had to have a relationship with people continuously for three days, when she got the opportunity, she ran to the police station Puwaya on Friday night and told the police the incident. Police have registered a case against the three accused and arrested them.
