New Delhi: Twitter users in India are expressing their dissatisfaction over the sudden drop in their number of followers. While some users claimed to have lost hundreds of fans within minutes. Others claimed to have lost thousands of fans at once, significantly reducing their number of followers. Tried similar to clean the site

Twitter is known for making accounts secure and cleaning them up to remove spam and bots. Twitter made a similar effort earlier this year to clean up the site, saying you may notice some variation in fan count from time to time. Fan count does not include accounts that have been requested to verify their passwords or phone numbers. He has done so. We do this regularly to help prevent spam and keep all accounts safe. In a similar development, Twitter announced the removal of more than 3,000 accounts that were used as information operations linked to a foreign state. According to Reuters, the Twitter accounts that were banned were linked to operations in six countries, including Mexico, China and Russia.

The rules came after the appointment of the new CEO (users looses followers)

Meanwhile, Twitter has announced that it will not allow users to distribute media files, such as photos or videos, of private individuals without their permission. Media files showing important information such as a person’s home address, identification document, or contact information were already banned by the corporation. On the other hand, the new guidelines aim to crack down on posts that may harass or violate their personal space. Interestingly, the new rules came just a day after the company announced Parag Agarwal as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) following the exit of Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey.
