Two more vaccines approved

New Delhi. The government has approved the emergency use of two more vaccines amid increasing cases of Omicron, the new variant of Corona. Along with this, the government has also approved the emergency use of anti-viral medicine. The Union Health Ministry has approved the emergency use of Corbevax and Kovovax as well as the emergency use of anti-viral drug Molnupiravir.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that Corbevax is the first RBD protein subunit vaccine made in India. It has been developed by Hyderabad-based firm Biological E. He said it was a hat-trick. So far three vaccines of Corona have been made in India. Two other vaccines that are made in India, They include Bharat Biotech’s Covaccine and Serum Institute of India’s CovyShield.

The second vaccine that the government has approved is the nanoparticle vaccine Kovovax., Which will be manufactured by Serum Institute of India, Pune. Anti-viral drug Molnupiravir in the country 13 Companies will make This drug will be used in case of emergency in serious adult patients of Kovid. So far eight vaccines of corona have been approved in India.
