Uttar Pradesh: Cousin raped a class 2 student, then reached the police station to complain with the family.
Moradabad | UP Moradabad Rape News : It is often seen that people trust their loved ones with their eyes closed and later cheat themselves here. One such case has come to light from Kanth area of Moradabad last week. A seven-year-old girl’s cousin has been arrested from Delhi in connection with the rape and murder incident. The police has solved this case within 7 days. A class II student was raped on December 22. She was so scared that she did not tell this to anyone. But then suddenly she went missing and two days later the body of the girl was found in a sugarcane field, about two kilometers from her home in Kanth area. The post-mortem report revealed that the girl was raped before the murder.
Delhi had come after committing the crime.
UP Moradabad Rape News : After coming to the notice of the matter, the police registered a case of rape, kidnapping and murder under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. Police said that the footage of the CCTV camera installed nearby showed the girl’s cousin taking her to the sugarcane field. He returned to Delhi after committing the crime. The family members also did not suspect the cousin at all. But everything came to the fore in the police investigation.

UP Moradabad Rape News : Police station in-charge Mahesh Gautam said that during the investigation, the accused came to know about the presence of one of his relatives in Delhi. Gautam told that the accused confessed his crime in front of the police and was produced in the court from where he was sent to jail. Police said that the accused himself had come to the police station to file a missing complaint. He made every effort to influence the investigation and mislead the police.
