ISL team FC Goa signs multi-year deal with Udanta Singh

Madgaon. Indian winger Udanta Singh has signed a multi-year deal with Indian Super League football team FC Goa. The club confirmed this on Wednesday. Udanta’s arrival will strengthen FC Goa, who recently signed fellow Indian national team star Rolin Borges on loan ahead of the 2023-24 season. Udanta said in a statement issued by the club, “I am extremely excited and honored to be a part of FC Goa. I have always admired the way Goa plays. Whenever we were playing Goa, the extra effort had to be put in.

“We have had a mutual interest in working together for over a year now and I am very pleased that this contract is finally in place. I believe I have a lot to offer and my dream is to win many more trophies. I hope it starts from here.” A part of the prestigious Tata Football Academy, Udanta has spent his entire career so far with Bengaluru FC (BFC). He first played with the club in the I-League and was also a part of the club when it entered the ISL in 2017-18. He played over 200 matches for BFC in national leagues like the I-League, ISL, Durand Cup, Super Cup and Federation Cup, winning the title once in each of these competitions.
