Various sites momentarily go down in boundless blackout

NEW YORK — Major sites went down Thursday in what had all the earmarks of being a brief yet inescapable blackout.
The sites of Airbnb, AT&T, Costco and Delta showed mistake messages around early afternoon Eastern time. They were by all accounts working typically, be that as it may, by 12:45 p.m.
Akamai, a significant in the background web network organization, said the disturbance kept going about an hour and that it was because of a product update in the framework that guides programs to sites. It said there was no cyberattack.
The organization said it was checking on how it refreshes programming to attempt to forestall blackouts later on.
