Australia got a big blow before the match in FIFA World Cup, this player out of the tournament

Doha. Australia winger Martin Boyle has been ruled out of the FIFA World Cup due to a knee injury. Australia have announced that Marco Tilio will replace him in the 26-man squad. Boyle, who plays for Scottish league side Hibernian, suffered an injury about three weeks ago and has been unable to train with Australia ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.
The 29-year-old player said in a statement on Instagram on Sunday that he would now be cheering for the Australian team. “Don’t know how to put into words how disappointed I am to be left out of the World Cup squad,” Boyle wrote. Tried everything to get fit but unfortunately could not do so this time. He said that he is happy to have been selected in the team and played a role in qualifying for the tournament.
Grateful that I was put in the camp. Will fully support my teammates on and off the field and enjoy the whole World Cup experience. The 21-year-old Tillio plays for Melbourne City in Australia. He is training with the team in Doha.
