The second Test match was being played between India and Australia in Kolkata. The conditions were not in India’s favor at all on the fourth day of the second Test. Team India had lost its first match. Was playing follow on in Kolkata. When the third day’s play ended, India’s score was 254 for 4 and it was still 20 runs behind Australia. Laxman and Dravid shared a 357-run partnership for the fifth wicket. VVS Laxman played the required innings of 281 while Dravid scored 180. India declared its innings at 657 runs. Australia had to score 384 runs to win this match. Due to the amazing bowling of Harbhajan Singh, India managed to win this test match by 171 runs. The entire Australian team was all out.
