Why the rush to the booster?

If such a decision is taken to save the hospitals from losses, it will be very unfortunate. The decision of when to apply the booster dose should be left to the experts. International experts have been insisting that booster doses should not be allowed until everyone is fully immunized.

This news has naturally drawn attention that private hospitals in the country are lobbying to allow booster doses of corona infection. These hospitals bought vaccine doses in crores. But in view of the expensive price at which these doses were taken, not enough patients came there. Whereas the doses which were purchased will expire from next January to March. In such a situation, the talk of booster dose in India is absurd. Then while it is not known what effect the old vaccine will have on the new variant, there does not appear to be any rationale for taking such a decision just because of the atmosphere of fear. Therefore, it would be appropriate that the government should take a decision in this matter keeping in mind the scientific and public interest. After the introduction of the second dose of mRNA vaccines, their effect begins to decline after six months. But so far researchers have recommended caution. He has emphasized that no person should consider himself completely safe even after taking the full dose of the vaccine. He does not understand that he is safe from the corona virus. In fact, there is a high risk that someone may not have been immunized yet. This condition does not change even with a booster dose. Therefore, a hasty decision in this regard will be meaningless.
