Bob Odenkirk, star of ‘Better Call Saul,’ implodes on set

LOS ANGELES — “Better Call Saul” star Bob Odenkirk imploded on the show’s New Mexico set on Tuesday and must be hospitalized.

Team individuals considered a rescue vehicle that required the 58-year-old entertainer to a clinic, where he remained Tuesday night, an individual near Odenkirk who was not approved to talk openly on the matter disclosed to The Associated Press.

It was not quickly clear what caused the breakdown, or how long Odenkirk may be hospitalized.

“Better Call Saul,” the side project prequel to “Breaking Bad,” has been shooting its 6th and last season, which is set to air on AMC one year from now.

Like “Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul” is set in and for the most part shot in Albuquerque.
