Cricket Update: Thanks to Warner’s brilliant innings, Australia lead close to 300 runs
Melbourne. Australia took a 290-run lead over South Africa on Wednesday, the third day of the second cricket Test, with the help of half-centuries from Travis Head and Alex Curry after David Warner’s brilliant innings. Australia started the game at 386 for three in reply to South Africa’s first innings total of 189.

At lunch, Australia’s score was 479 for seven when Carey was playing for 62 and Cameron Green scored 14 runs. South Africa took three wickets in the first session. Enrich Norkia dismissed Head (51) and Warner (200) in two consecutive balls.
